Bora Bora hosts a selection of events every year. You might want to attend an event whilst on holiday, as it’s a great way to get to know the real Bora Bora. In the second week of May the Tahiti Pearl Regatta takes places. Bora Bora Liquid Festival is held in December; it’s a sporting event where athletes can put themselves to the test. There’s long distance races and water sports to try. Heiva i Bora Bora is held towards the end of June; it’s an annual singing, dance and traditional sports competition.
